<Family Therapy, Schizophrenia, God>

There is one Who goes with you.

This is an exciting science and I have made a game to introduce you to Relational Psychotherapy for you: we have learned from mental health history, and we know God's design for you is a healthy family, not suffering!

Here is info about the game , on the next page: Basically, family therapy is
different from other sciences because it recognizes the way human behavior is related to other human behaviors around it. Got that? And behavior affects its surroundings right back. Make sense?
You'll see how that works with schizophrenia, for example.

BTW This idea of relationships has roots in God's word--the Bible, and roots in early forms of Psychology. Then in 1950 it began to change. An example of valid, reliable reasons for the shift is Virginia Satir's discovery. A successful psychiatrist, she treated schizophrenics in a facility, but when the patients returned to their families they became ill again unless the family was treated also.

There were other
behavioral scientists like Salvador Menuchin, who worked successfully and fast with a children's institute in Philadelphia. He discovered special skills and techniques that especially recognize what the system is doing  in the individual's behavior-- "what the organization is doing for or to them". What the family does to or for them.

Another application, can you imagine addiction treatment without working with the environment the mental health consumer returns to?

That's my underpinning (how do you like that word!) for me as a family therapist to treat the whole family, and when I am working with an organization to pay attention to the way the whole thing acts with the other parts--This is relational psychotherapy--A good thing.

I hope you like a game on the next page I designed that way. It can be a private one
or,
an interactive game.

God didn't intend us to suffer. Learn healthy paths to be even more fruitful.
