These presses are used for herbal tinctures, oils, vinegars and other herbal products. The herbs are chopped or powdered, put loosely into a jar, covered with an extracting liquid like alcohol and water, glycerin, vinegar, or olive oil. After absorbing herbal properties for a time, you use a press to separate the liquid from the herbs. This can be done very simply by pressing the herbs by hand through cheese cloth or by using a tincture press. Since 1993 we have been creating original design tincture presses to aid tincture makers with low cost appropriate technology for making herbal products.
Our presses vary from heavy to medium to light duty for industrial to home uses.
