KETCH-UM KALF
RODEO TICKET and LOGO
The KETCH-UM KALF Logo is on all of our present vests that the group wears during the shows and events.
The first rodeo was started in 1934 by a group called Camas Prairie and Vicinity Pioneer Association and then was taken over by the Mt. Adams Cattle Association, the admission at that time was 40 cents.
Agnes Miller and Jayne Kreps were the first women to sell coffee and donuts and that started the Glenwood Women's Club stand. The coffee was heated over a camp fire and they had a small table.
The first rodeo was held on the Conboy Place, then it was moved to the Trout Place South of the Post Office, then it was moved to the present site west of Glenwood on ground donated by Pete Conboy.
The Ketchum Kalf Rodeo typically attracts more then 4,000 visitors each year in June, Father's Day Week End.
Now we have a Dance Hall on the grounds where we hold a dance on Saturday night.
We also now have all steel chutes, and we have free camping on the grounds and in the area.
