OUR "TASTING TOURS" let you relish local taste treats ranging from fresh fruits to wines to micro- brews. Marvel at majestic mountains and breathtaking panoramas en route.

    Tour suggestions:

COLUMBIA GORGE WINERY TOUR lets you taste differences in local and regional wines while enjoying beautiful scenery in the Columbia River Gorge. We visit three wineries in the area: Wind River Cellars, Flerchinger Vineyards, and Hood River Vineyards, comparing complimentary taste treats. Time: 4 hours.

ANTIQUE AND WINE TOUR visits several antiques stores in the vicinity and stops at Wind River Cellars, up the White Salmon River, to sample local wines (and/or have a BBQ chicken lunch). End with a one of the Gorge’s best kept secrets, Old World Loafers in Bingen, serving great coffee treats and homemade breads. Option: Galleries and Gift Shops instead of Antique stores. Time: 4-5 hours.

MICRO-BREW TOUR travels east up the Washington side of the Gorge to the town of Hood River, OR. Tour Full Sail Brewing Company and sample 13 different complimentary “on tap” brews in the river view brew pub. Then travel up Hood River Valley to the Elliot Glacier Public House in the quaint community of Parkdale. Sip brews in the shadow of majestic Mt. Hood. Both pubs have interesting pub food, perfect for lunch or a light snack. Time: 4 hours.

HOOD RIVER VALLEY is abuzz with orchard activity in the Spring and Fall. Take an excursion through the Gorge and the town of Hood River to a scenic vista of the valley in bloom or in fruit. Travel through the orchards, sample unusual taste treats. Time: Approximately 3 hours.
